The places were not what I expected it to be. Kapolei deserved to be in the top 3! I feel that Leilehua and Pearl City did not deserve to be ranked so high as they were. Overall, everyone did good but the judging was very unfair.

I have watched many competitions and I have never disagreed with placements during awards until this Saturday. Comparing the routines that were shown it was very obvious that Campbell and kapolei have been robbed. They both deserved a higher spot. Both performances were outstanding, clean, difficult, and they both performed their routines at their best. I am no expert but when multiple people question the placements and scores of both teams, something’s gotta be up. Your telling me that having deductions and not having high ranges for different parts of the routines don’t matter just as long as your team is favored or had a history of being “better” than other teams?? THAT SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE. Being favorited should never be the way of deciding who gets what place and who gets to move on to OIAs. It should be based on fair judging!! We need new, judges ASAP because nobody should ever experience the feeling of being torn away from what they deserve! These kids have put too much time, dedication, and HEART into this sport to be so hurt over this cruel act from these judges. These kids deserve way better, the coaches deserve way better!!

Kapolei deserved more. they maxed out the score sheet with 10’s and hit everything, but were scored 7’s and 8’s. teams with lower skills, teams that stepped off the matt, and teams that dropped stunts beat them which makes no sense. also campbell gave a great performance and deserved more too. either the judges need to stop being biased or they need to be fired. there are no excuses for this when our athletes are working hard every day, competing injured, and missing out on time with friends and family just for this sport.

Judge based on the teams PERFORMANCE, judges must not be BIASED TOWARDS CERTAIN TEAMS. This happens way too often!
