I live in the Chaska Town Course Cottages and with the new developments planned and newly built Bavaria Rd. already has traffic overload! This site needs a rural location, not across from ANY neighborhood, it stinks and that's not fair! Good idea, find a better location!

Do you know what improperly/ineffectively composted grass clippings smell like? You do. Cow manure, which is expected since cows eat mostly grass or hay.

Our family live directly across the street from the proposed site in a residential home. This is the dumbest idea that I have seen the Beautiful MN Arboretum do to its neighbors in the greenbelt of Chaska. I would love to get involved in a protest out front of the Arboretum if needed. City of Chaska said the roads can't support the traffic and wrote a letter to the county saying they do not support it. City of Victoria said it's a dumb idea. The only Chaska board member (Greg Boe) that supports it and also represents us in this zone happens to be the person that is working for Carver County and is heading up the project.
Keep the dump out of our front window!!!!

Evaluate the effects before you move on this!
Study other counties on the fringe of the metro, you will see this is a bad choice!

Please look at what happened a few years back when the Arboretum took in food and yard waste products and wanted to make a compost area. The smell from this compost site was terrible!

We are against this dump site. If it goes through then the county must upgrade and maintain through the city of Chaska the roadway to accommodate the traffic it will generate.

I oppose this site due to the poor choice of location, the hazardous traffic conditions that are inevitable, the impact this will have on surrounding residents, the complete disregard Carver county has given to local municipalities, and the financial nature of this arrangement which fails to take into consideration local residents.
