The Woodlands resident for one year. As a new resident to the area, I would be highly disappointed if this waste site were to be approved. I know for a fact it would have a negative impact into my decision to buy a house in the Woodlands if I would be looking to move to the area at this time.

We already will be seeing an increase in traffic due to new developments. I have yet to see any proposal to address it. This is another change being made without planning for the fall out.

I do not support this location. The existing Environmental Center is in a commercial area, this is residential. The increase in traffic during high use times will be an issue with the residents. Please find another location.

This is not a good area. Completely a disturbance to all of the amazing neighborhoods out here.

The smell and visual look of this would severely have a negative impact on our town.

Between the increased traffic on Bavaria Road and the tremendous amount of cars from Holy Family, this area is an accident ready to happen. Too much congestion to add cars and trucks bringing and removing yard waste. Common sense should prevail. This is clearly an inappropriate site for the proposed purpose.

I think this is a poor location and not well assessed for traffic that is surrounded by neighborhoods

For the safety of the children in the area (there are no crosswalks in this area and the road can not handle a line up of cars safely)

Opposed. I think they need to do work on Bavaria prior to this. Putting traffic lights in and extended the turn lane to go west on 5 from Bavaria. This type of impact should have plans around it to mediate the traffic flow.

I live in Madelyn Creek and I am still stunned to see the massive, ugly Public Works building sitting at the top of the hill at 80th Street and Bavaria Road. Unfortunately, I am able to sit in my living room and see the ugly white building and the 10 tiny pine trees that are haphazardly spread out on the property. I don't trust any government organization to make an intelligent decision about where to put a Landfill site. It's complete BS that they can't find a more remote site for whatever ugly buildings they are putting in. Perhaps they could put a McDonalds Restaurant and maybe a Dollar Store there too. I am strongly opposed to this location being used as a Dump Site. Respectfully, Tom Norman

The site off Peavey already backs up with traffic. Relocating that traffic to the residential area off Bavaria, with limited sidewalks for pedestrians, would be irresponsible and potentially dangerous.

I moved from Shakopee to get my family away from a compost site. The smell was so bad we would not go outside and I can't say it was much better inside. I am sure there are health risks associated with prolonged enclosure too. Unfortunately if this compost gets approved the value of homes in the area will go down. Please don't let this happen!!
