This is not a good place for a yard waste dump. Don’t turn Victoria into a haven for waste. Please protect our neighborhoods. Our residents deserve more.

I oppose the proposed site. Traffic will certainly be an issue with child safety. Exiting Applewood Circle on Saturday’s will be extremely difficult.

Putting the dump at this location would create both a public and a private nuisance under MN law. Examples of both types of nuisances will most certainly be presented at the meeting. If the Commissioners vote yes, then all legal recourse options should be considered.

Yard waste disposal as any disposal site should not be located so close to residential properties. It is something that belongs where the sights, smells, and associated traffic do not detract and hinder the beauty of Victoria residences. We have and are paying a high price to live here and expect our city officials to reject this proposal based on our collective voices in objecting to it.

I am concerned with all the young drivers coming from the high school and that it would impact the neighborhood in unpleasant ways.

Please do not create Yard Waste Disposal at Bavaria and 82 street next to Victoria residences. As residents of Victoria we pay much high property taxes in compare with other towns in the Carver County, This Yard Waste Disposal will not only create a hazard traffic and hazard environment from bad smell air pollution, it will also decrease the value of Victoria resident properties , it will destroy our community! The Yard Waste Disposal must be created in the area far away from the residences, and there are so many of this kind of areas in the Carver County.

Residence in Victoria, particularly those living in the Applewood Circle neighborhood, are strongly opposed to this site. Not only will it increase traffic, it will increase our tax base and it will be an unsightly area not in keeping with the neighborhood expectations. Although we have worked as a neighborhood to address other concerns we have had with the leadership in Victoria, And also decisions the Arboretum has made about putting up unsightly fencing along with Bavaria Road, it has gone on addressed. Although we are told we have an opportunity to speak, when we do we are not heard. My husband was seriously injured turning into our street because people use Bavaria Road as a shortcut and often speed and do not obey the traffic laws. We do not need additional people creating opportunities for our residents to be injured. The city of Victoria is using this as an opportunity to raise revenue, without consideration of how they need to address the increased traffic. They are unable to provide solid data to support their proposed decision. My husband and I strongly oppose this proposition.

A residential area does not seem to be an appropriate location to transport and pile the County yard waste. The small vermin habitat created will not benefit the surrounding area. There is high traffic needs between the commuters and the school located within 4 blocks of this site. The Arboretum would not allow a paved road south of their area during the Hwy 5 closure to provide them with a bike path access which by the way, they now have closed.

This waste site does not belong here. Unsafe traffic and large truck travel, not strategically located in county, a nuisance and will become a huge rodent problem for families, medical facilities, schools and businesses next door. Major devaluation of neighboring property in a heavily populated residential area. Voting this is would be an irresponsible action by our county leaders.

My wife and I totally oppose the Arboretum Dump proposal.
Another example of careless stewardship of taxpayer money.
