Heritage not hate apple, please make this a thing. I have multiple black friends who wear and support southern pride. This may be risky but so was making a gay couple emoji. Please do this for us, we feel left out in this day and age.

It’s our heritage, and if there can be a rainbow flag then there can surely be a Confederate flag!

Part of American history like it or not ... can’t change the fact it existed by ignoring it. Isn’t that what the primary is focus of protests? Think about it, the south was mostly democrats. They were fighting to keep their slaves. The republicans fought to free the slaves. People don’t talk enough about that. No one likes slavery. It is bad but it did happen. Majority of slaves were sold to slave traders by competing tribes not captured by white people as they would have everyone believe. Sold for weapons and food. Read the historical accounts of it. Of course, they try to keep those facts obscure nowadays.

Apple doesn’t create emojis. Emojis are created and maintained by the Unicode standards body. That’s why Apple and android phones have the same emoji sets. So not only is this petition stupid, it is petitioning the wrong group
