Pubs are the hub of the community, but also need to make money. Help them out (rather than bump up their rates for which they see nothing for) & help the village have the Pub that they deserve.

Having enjoyed the Harvey arms for many many years I agree it should keep it's licence. Don't buy a house near a pub if you want complete quiet. It's like the muppets who buy a house near a school then moan at every car that parks near by...

This pub has a wonderful atmosphere and there has never been any problems its a very well kept property and should have its licence extended

Don't buy a house near a pub and then complain about the noise ! As bad as those who move in and then complain about the airport and railway !

Here here for the Harvey. How come the people seem to have the right to complain when the houses have only been built this year. I hope the Harvey gets its entertainment licence and that they start to put more regular events on. The Harvey, as are many pubs, the best thing for keeping communities together and I applaud them for their efforts in the village in the short space of time I have lived here!

I live in Finningley and the Harvey Arms is the heart of our lovely village that brings us together as a community through a range of events and functions throughout the year and I whole heartedly support them in their application!

We need communal village places / events to keep the community spirit alive. We should be supporting all local businesses and events.
