Please help us in supporting the Harvey Arms Finningley in obtaining their entertainment licence, They do a lot of good within the village but unfortunately some people are petitioning to stop their events licence being issued.

The level of public backing for the Harvey Arms is now impossible for the local planning committee to ignore. I have scheduled a formal meeting with the licensing department to present this documented request for the venue to host events.

This pub is the heart of our community. The pub has donated to local community groups and wants to make our village as good as it can be.
The Harvey is becoming the hub in our community. Whilst we have the church and the village Hall putting on events at various times of the day and year, why should the Harvey be any different. There’s never been littering or unsocial behaviour at anytime since I’ve been here and it should not be presumed .
This pub has been part of my village and my life for over 30years. The traditions of bonfire night and all other events they put in really being a sense of community. A great local pub, for the local people of finnigley. This must obtain its event license to keep this sense of community and belonging.
The Harvey is the heart of the village community. While some noobs might move to Finningley and complain, I'm trying to save enough money to move back to the village BECAUSE of the Harvey and it's events.
Harvey Arms, through good ideas, have drawn the community together. From the Jubilee celebrations to bonfire nights and May pole celebrations... even the beer garden has lifted the quality of facilities within the village. Yes, they are a business but they took a risky punt back in 2011, put their own cash into the project and should be rewarded with some benefits.

Lived in Finningley for over 20 years and the Harvey Arms has always been the centre of the village and is the focal point many activities. It has always been sensitive to the needs of the community. It is unfortunate that a few people who have only just arrived into out village community want to spoil this for the rest of us.
