Dear Mr. Oatman,
We are really disappointed to hear that our emails are being cut off after 230 days. Throughout the year, we've been assured that our email addresses would persist after graduation. Many of us have purchased business cards with our Harvard email based on these assurances, and CSO has been advising students to use their Harvard email addresses in the job search. We will also be losing access to contacts we’ve emailed with relation to our roles at Harvard, which negatively impacts our future ability to network.
Furthermore, many of us have saved work on our Google Drives and this short notice makes it difficult for us to finish finals, continue the job hunt, worry about saving past work, and update our contacts with new email addresses.
We would like to ask that you reconsider this change in policy, since it was done with such short notice for current students.
