Harsher Punishments and More Investigations for Auto Theft in Albuquerque, NM

Make it harder for .these people to get out of jail.that are hurting us that work .I haven't been able to work all week .trying to replace my tools .

My truck has been broke into 3 times no matter where its parked or what security measures have been put in place..Thousands of dollars worth of damage ,and theft in items and inam just a passer through Albuquerque ..Its time some real things get done..Over 8000. cars stolen in 2016,,Stinks of insider knowledge,system needs a little cleaning up.

My truck was stolen Christmas night. With the help from this group I saw a picture of my truck out on the west Mesa. Called and left a message for a detective, never received a call back.

Indeed, this is really getting out of hand. Last year, in November we had our car stolen as well. Luckily it was found a week later, trashed but it was in a okay condition. These thieves need to realize that, people work hard to get what they need. It's not just handed to them. We work hard for what we need to provide for our family. APD please work hard to cut this problem. It's affecting not only us as individuals, but as a whole family.

Please stop these people, they only hurt others.

The problem is out of hand, harsher penalties need to be inforced. These repeat offenders have absolutely no fear of being caught.

My son's truck was stolen and it's still missing. This truck belonged to my father, a Veteran, who gave the truck to my son to attend college in ABQ and the truck get's stolen. Auto theft has gotten out of control and priorities need to change to stop these thieves.

I'm 10 miles South, of ABQ, but it overflows back and forth, all these low life morons.

I've had two vehicles stolen from me and two friends die in vehicle thefts. These are not shoplifters they are violent criminals and needs to be treated in kind.
