The Albuquerque crime is out of control. We now rank worst in the nation for auto theft! Where are our elected officials?

I also am a victim of the crime. Looking for a 2004 chevy silverado short bed gold in color. Stolen 3 of January. By a red dodge extended cab pic up. Drive around the area of menual and carlisle.

Albuquerque is becoming a frightening place to live. Fix this, we are doing our part help us...be our voices.

This is disgusting. My husband and I both have had our cars broken into in a months time. Luckily not stolen. I work in the car business and we have several cars stolen in weeks times. They need to do something about this. Its getting worse.

Mu truck and 5k worth of tools stolen. 14 days for a police report and no investigation. As soon as my kids are out of the house I'm moving away from Albuquerque

This is just out of control in Albuquerque.

We are all sick of these thugs in Albuquerque.

Previously I have had my car stolen 3 times & had to fix many damages when found. Also, recently my boyfriend's car has been stolen & broken into multiple times to this day. Every weekend it seems. When police found his car when it was stolen, they had many things w/finger prints on it being that it seems they lived in the car for a week. Even getting prints we hope for them to still find the people or person who did it because it's ridiculous having to worry every single day if our car is gonna be gone or not.

I am one of many who has had their vehicle stolen not once but twice in two years. There must be tougher penalties for these repetitive criminals who have no respect for other people's property. Please, we desperately Need tougher laws for auto theft.

My car was stolen from my drive way December 2015.

This has to stop my house was broken into twice last year. Both times reported to the police and nothing has been.

I'm fed up with the crime in this city.

We definitely need harsher penalties and longer sentences for these people stealing cars.

Thanks for starting this, we need to get our government to get tougher on crime in this city!

The crime in this city is pushing us to make a decision. Should we leave the city we love? Sucks.
