Please bring a skate park to harrisburg, it's very benificial for those who want something different to do with there free time. Yes going to the movies, going roller skating, bowling, jumping on tramploine are fun but it's not every ones cup af tea. There's nothing in harrisburg for those who are interested in extreme sports. And there's so much talent in our streets every day skateboarding, they need there own place to be able to to do what they do without worrying about where they can or can not skate. I am originally from southern California San Diego bay area and we have always supported our skaters and made sure that they had a safe, clean and reliable skate park to go to. There are so many reasons why you should build one it's been talked about for years and nothing just more banks, gas stations, and funeral homes being built. We as a community need to be thinking about what we can do for our future generations. As a mother of two, it would have been awsome to be able to take my kids and there friends to a skate park. I know that this will be a great addition to harrisburg and parents and kids will be very greatfull. We need more outlets for the young. And that's priceless.

I'm all for building and bring things to the Harrisburg community for our youth. Let's support our future! They need productive things to do around town. We are losing our youth to "gangs" and drugs. I think this is a wonderful idea!

I also agree a skatepark is needed in Harrisburg. I don't have young kids but I have a year old grand baby and also work at Parker Plaza and communicate with these young kids all the time. The are polite and resectful and just need a place to call their own. I fully support this idea!

THIS is NEEDED!!! Our kids are being ticketed, boards confiscated, their spirirt is crushed. If they cant skate and have a designated area, then they will get into other less desirable activities.

I thought the skate park was on the agenda several years ago. What happened. Hope this does not fail to produce again. Two $30,000 tennis courts? That says a lot about who has power in this town and who they think is more important.
The kids need this
