It should be the pro cull brigade that are in court, they were violent and intimidating to the protesters that were peaceful and law abiding citizens.

There is legal and there is moral. The law is underpinned by a moral code, not the other way around. Hanging was legal but considered immoral, hence its banning as a punishment and its relegation to the annals of history. If we do not act morally, we cannot consider ourselves civilised. The right to protest against something people consider immoral and /or unethical is as basic as the right to free speech. This cull is both immoral and unethical. People feel strongly enough about this issue that the fear of prosecution AND persecution is insufficient to dissuade them from standing up for what they, what WE believe is right. Government, be warned. Some of us may be tree huggers, some may be hunt sabs BUT the vast majority of us are middle England. The ones who vote! We will remember everything you have done. Be warned.
