Two hundred and fifty people have put their names on this now and I am honestly just staring at the screen because I really did not think this many people would care about what is happening to Cathy. It feels like the tide is finally turning and those first few people who signed when I was barely hopeful are the ones who made this even possible.

This lady is a token scapegoat, just like the Badgers she valiantly tried to protect....Badgers are a protected species and there is no proof that the ones she was protecting were diseased.
This lady was acting within her rights to protest and protect healthy badgers from being killed as per the a Badger Protection Act....she is a scapegoat for an illegal policy that should be subject to an investigation!
Cathy was a lovely person, who is guilty of nothing. It is not a crime to save life, or grieve tha life you have been protecting. It is this governent who should be in court charged with corruption, cruelty, and decit over the badger cull. Lets hope sense prevails, and cathy is not charged, for compassion
can't belive that this lady is facing the law when so many incidents of police intimidation , threatening behaviour by cull operators/famrers seem to have been put under the carpet...
Justice must express equality so just why have pro cullers that drove vehicles at protesters,vandalised vehicles and threatened/assaulted protesters not been prosecuted?
What a total farce, give it up, come back to sanity, and loose the greed.
Virtually the entire country wants the cull stopped. She is being scapegoats for NFU intransigence.

There should have been no shooting with public present. This was a deliberately provocative action by cull operatives to cause distress to protesters. Then when the lady in question became distressed and reacted accordingly she was arrested. Very bad behaviour by so called professionals and extremely poor judgement by police prosecuting.
