As we all know, representation matters in books. Recently, the UK author of RADIO SILENCE has released a #ownvoices book entitled LOVELESS, featuring an aromantic asexual college student main character in a coming of age story.
Sounds great, right?
Unfortunately, the book is not released in the US. While the book is available as a paperback that can be international shipped from the UK, it is hard to come by.
This petition is to urge the HarperCollins Children's Publishing to release this book in the USA so that it may be enjoyed by a larger audience, especially so that American aromantic asexuals can see themselves represented in a book.

I am a proud aromantic asexual and it has been a long journey learning about and confidently identifying as one. Growing up I didn’t have anyone in the media to look at and see this part of myself in. I felt broken. I still feel a bit broken at times. We need representation because it will help people learn about aromanticism and asexuality, identity as aro and/or ace, and affirm to people that they are not broken. They are whole and not alone. This book is doing that! Please let as many people as possible have access to it.
When I was figuring out my identity, I, like so many others, thought I was broken. It's taken me years to start to come to terms with it, and even now I'm not all the way there. The difference this book would've made to me as a teen is phenomenal. Please share it, as much as you can, so that no one has to go through it like so many of us have before.
While I may not live in America myself, I think everyone should have a chance to read this book, so I thought I'd put my name down to try and help you guys in the USA get it. :)
Representation is incredibly important, I really hope that this book gets published!
Aroace rep is so hard to find especially in YA/Coming of age stories! aroace people deserve to see themself in media and to know they aren't alone!

i have been waiting for a book like this for so long. please bring loveless to the us, we really need it!
