Whilst on a run, i fell taking the long route round on the slippery bank. This has been closed for more than 6 months and will get worse come the autumn/winter. It would be great if the council/Forestry England could provide their action plan of what they intend to do. Looks like any activities are moving in slow motion which will have an impact on the local community. This is depriving parents with young children, the elderly and people with physical problems of using this open space that should be open to all. People are now more likely to fall and suffer injury on the slippery UN-even summer meadow than a repaired bridge.

Would appreciate this being considered as soon as possible, as the diversion route becomes extremely unusable over the winter months. Rain and constant use of the diversion path, results in an unsafe surface for walkers and animals.

It is vital that the bridge is replaced as the alternative route is now very slippery and will deteriorate further as winter comes in.

Easy access from Pages Wood to Harold Wood Park is essential as it allows visitors to Pages Wood via Hall Lane to enjoy our local park and its facilities. The bridge makes it an inviting prospect whereas a walkway across a style is the opposite.

As the winter arrives it will be more essential to have normal access to the wood from the park. The existing unmade track is becoming dangerously slippery and inaccessible to all but the most firm of foot . If the Forestry Commission could not maintain the land they should not have taken it on.

The alternative access via "summer meadow" becomes more and more difficult in the winter. The whole park is extremely important to the physical and mental health of the local residents and needs to be as easy as possible to navigate. The bridge was an important part of this.

The bridge does need to be replaced. A walk in the wood is very beneficial to peoples health. During lockdown I found being able to walk in the park and wood was a great help. Although there is another route to the woods via the summer meadow this can be slippery when wet and I have actually fallen over. This could become dangerous as the weather changes and winter draws in.

This area should be accessible to all without the bridge this is not the case. Through the winter the diversion is going to get very wet, muddy and dangerous with potential slip hazards!!

This bridge gives essential access to the Pages Wood area from Harold Wood park. Due to it being nolonger passable I can nolonger walk to the woodland area and have to drive to the entrance on Hall Lane. An unnesseccary use of fossil fuels!! Please can we have the bridge back ASAP. Thank you.

Causes great inconvenience, stopping people walking in Pages Wood getting there the easy way.

Could crowd funding not be sought to address one of the barriers to replacing the bridge. Whenever it rains one cannot access Pages Woods from Harold Wood Park because of the flooding. This mater needs to be addressed before the winter

Bureaucracy at its worst. If it was in a park near Buckingham Palace it would never have been allowed to rot the first place.

This bridge is essential to keep the pathway open to the public.

This bridge definitely needs urgent attention. I was there with friends just 2 days ago and the only access bypassing the bridge was very muddy and slippery and will soon be completely impassable.

No matter how expensive it doesnt compare to the cost of taking away the freedom for some or many people to be able to access this country park which after all was built to be visited by the community and beyond to improve their well being was it not?
