We Had Harmon In Kansas City His Last Year Of Playing And I Actually Got To Meet Him. He Was So Nice And I, Of Course, Always Respected His Play On The Field. I Fully Agree That He Deserves This Honor!

Back in the late sixties as a kid in love with baseball, Harmon was a stand out on my Baseball Corner, a designated area our bedroom wall.

Grew up in southern Minnesota and followed the Twins as a child. He was one of my favorite baseball players.

His nickname "Killer" was derived from his name and his hitting. In person, he was a humble and caring gentleman! We need representatives like him for baseball today.
