As a resident for 34 years I have seen structures and buildings that have destroyed our city . This continues to occur without our input.

Our area needs to be fixed - flooding & speeding cars- before you even consider building such a massive structure . Our area is getting overcrowded & overdeveloped. Please reconsider this project.

Hoboken has a peaceful neighbourhood feel that was the main reason we moved from Newport,JC recently. Such huge buildings will create traffic, noise and transient residents which will have impact on cozy neighbourhood.

We need less monstrosities built not more in the neighborhood. Please stop this gigantic eyesore from blocking light and increasing traffic beyond what was already an excessive building Sincerely, Young Cho

The parking is already atrocious in the neighborhood. We do not need a building towering in the area blocking light. Stop this miscarriage Cordially, Joseph Sayegh

As a homeowner in Hoboken I am very distressed to hear about this unwelcome plan. This area of the City will become even more populated with little services/support. With the opening of Vine it has become very difficult to park and I can only imagine what will happen with the opening of these two proposed buildings. Why so high? Where is the park? What will this do to our community? What about the awful condition of the streets in that area? What will happen to the sunlight in my apartment? My investment?

Money for bike lanes and saturating town with buildings... but no ease of parking or traffic. Where will all these cars go?

This development is heavy-handed. It does not serve the interests of Hoboken citizens who actually need to be able to get sunlight and move around without traffic hindrances all of the time!

Way too many high rises! This is Hoboken, not NYC!

We moved to the west side of Hoboken to get away from the massive high rises on the waterfront. We don't appreciate changing the nature of the area, as this a continuing trend of the mayor and council trying to "build up" a lovely and quiet part of the city.

My husband and I have lived in Hoboken for over 10 years. In 2013 after much talk and consideration we decided to stay in Hoboken and plant our roots while our friends all moved out of town because we love Hoboken. We love the small town feeling, we love not being surround by high rises, we love being able to sit on our roof and see the most beautiful city on the planet. When we purchased our apartment in the metrostop building at 800 jackson street we were told that no building around ours would be taller - we have pino building taller to our left which cuts our view of the skyline. Pino is building a monster building to our right which will block our windows. If we wanted to live in a condensed environment we would have moved into NY. BOTH buildings I just mentioned are RENTALS. Renters don't care about our town, they don't care about our schools, they aren't investing in our towns future. All this is doing is creating a more transient town and this is NOT what Hoboken needs. Just because we are not on the water does not make west Hoboken's any less valuable. Our streets can't handle more people, WE FLOOD EVERY TIME IT RAINS SLIGHTLY HARD, and none of us signed up for this. If this building isn't stopped, you will personally be driving dedicated Hoboken residents out of town. To hear our quality of life is being used as a bargaining chip is repulsive. Stand up for your residents and not money.

Dear Hoboken City Officials, Extensive large scale development will add stress to our already crowded city. Hoboken is a wonderful community, but residents need enough space to keep it livable. We need more parks and public spaces, not large scale development that will overrun our city, ruin our small town feel, and line the pockets of developers. Please do not strike this "deal" which benefits developers at the cost of residents.
