Hardship Registration for the Arabian Horse Association

As the Guardian of The Breed, you are the only one endowed by the ability to allow every Arabian the pride of boasting their lineage. Please allow this to those that were less fortunate through no fault of their own. Thank you.

My rescue has an arabian dad (saw photos of sire and saddlebred dam as they were rescued together from backyard breeder). I have no papers but can tell both were papered. I wont do dna testing right niw as there is no gain. If testing allowed us to compete at a higher level it would be wonderful. Stiffer competition all atound is a great thing.

This would be extremely helpful to Arabians who though no fault of their own end up being rescued from slaughter or abuse. I own a 501(c)3 Arabian and Saddlebred Rescue.

This will be a wonderful shot in the arm to the association, to the shows and to rescued Arabians everywhere! Long overdue!

I have owned and shown hardship registered Appaloosas, it is a great program, and brings people to the breed who may not have been able to without their unregistered horse. please allow this!!!!

I'm all for this

I adopted a gorgeous Polish Arabian from a kill pen. He is wonderful and deserves all chances and opportunities. If being show eligible would increase chances for others, it is the right thing to do.

I have recently rescued a little Arabian gelding from going to slaughter. No one ever knows the history on these horses. I would love to know his lineage.

This would be a great way to increase attendance and attention to shows, with so many more horses eligible to compete.

If its proved they are Arab they should be able to register them & NOT for some crazy amount of money

I have a GORGEOUS pure bred son of a Scottsdale Halter Champion stallion, who was born with one blue eye. Neither the owner of the dam nor the owner of the sire would agree to let me to register my gelding because of his blue eye. His sire is still at stud, I guess the blue eye would effect his desirability as a stallion but his dam and full brother have been "dispersed" to parts unknown in the Middle East and being related to my horse would have no effect on their value. I would love to register my beauty. My horse just happens to have a great home, I wonder how many other horses would find good homes if they were allowed to be registered.

I would love to see this get passed, it's almost a dream come true, I purchased a half Arabian from an auction several years back who had papers, but because the previous owner was hoping to get 400.00 through the auction I got her for 200.00, the owners refused to turn over the papers to me or give me any information, I'm wasn't looking to breed her I just want to be able to participate in the Arab shows which I can only compete in open breed dressage

I am an aha member I don't have my card on me at the moment. I have a grade Arabian that would rock in sport horse. I'm sad I cannot show him. If this gets passed I could show him . And my kids also could in walk trot. He is beautiful.

I don't currently have my membership number on hand.
