The Reid Menzer Memorial skatepark in York PA has had a huge positive impact on the city. It flourishes during spring/summer/fall a large number of people come to enjoy it, and patronize local businesses. I imagine it would be similar in hanover

A healthy diversion from drugs. Keeps kids occupied and off the streets. Skateboarding builds confidence and provides a regular sense of accomplishment that’s vital for healthy character development

Every town needs a skatepark, especially Hanover. Would be a great place for youth to get outside and stay active in a healthy, safe environment. A place where friendships are easily made and youth learn to support one another.
