A skate park is most needed in Hanover. The closest decent skateboard park is either driving to Westminster or York. Gettysburg has an ok park but not great. I hope we can get one for Hanover soon

I'm 47 and I still BMX and skate board. I also have two teens that rely on skating as an outlet. My two younger children also live for the skate park. With Covid 19 the need has become even more greater for our family to have a place to go together.

I grew up Hanover in the 80/90s pre-YMCA skatepark. I would have loved to have a park to spend time at, instead of waxing curbs around town. I now live on Long Island and we have skateparks all around. They’re full of kids having fun and doing what they love.
