Hands off Newquay Hospital

This hospital is essential for the rural area as well as Newquay - especially in the Summer. It takes a lot of pressure off Treliske with the MI unit which is very busy . My mother was well looked after in the ward there when she was too ill & frail to be at home. Sadly she died there in 2010 but was very well cared for.

If there is to be no bed blocking in the main hospitals keep the community hospitals going. They are essential to recovery and assessment.

We need Newquay hospital to stay open, don't be so ridiculous and close it!! With it staying open it helps take some of the strain off of Treliske hospital which can't cope now. Keep it open!!!

This is newquay, which gets extremely busy with tourists especially in the summer, also this is the place of stag do's and hen nights, the place where people drink and the place where fights break out. Newquay is a prime location for a hospital. Also I have a disabled member of my family who doesn't drive and relies on Newquay hospital.

Being such a popular holiday destination and given the amount of new homes being built here now, we need this hospital to stay open.

These local hospitals are an essential part of our NHS framework. They support the work of GPS and the Main Hospital. I hope Cornwall Council has more farsightedness than Devon and retains Newquay and all the other local hospitals.

To close this hospital will be a disgrace you cannot put a price on life.

As Newquay is rapidly increasing in size it is essential that the Hospital facilities remain available for residents, the elderly and tourists. This will also assist in helping to reduce the pressure on Treliske.

With more houses being built and ever increasing population in and around Newquay where would the sense be in closing this amenity?!!!! I have had physio, x-rays, hearing tests etc. carried out here - all with extremely quick appointments and excellent care without the need to travel to Treliske or elsewhere which wouldn't be anywhere as near convenient for the elderly or people without transport This hospital should NOT be allowed to close..

Invaluable asset for Newquay and would be a farce if it were to be closed forcing even more people to use Treliske. Have had to use on a number of occasions and found treatment received there excellent as well as convenient. With the growing population of Newquay and surrounding areas I cannot see how the closure of this hospital could even be considered

the xray facilities and physio are very handy if we had to travel to treliske it would mean a whole morning off work instead of an hour

My Grandmother has recently stay at Newquay hospital & being closer to home was essential to her recovery. Please do not close these much needed facility, not just for local people but for our tourist who visit our resort/town.

Hospital is needed-My mother went there after a fall and being in Treliske. Without Newquay Hosp she would have blocked a bed in Treliske and not got home so quickly. Geat staff and care at Newquay hospital.
