When people need emergency treatment the last thing they need is to have to travel to Truo when there is help within a few miles in Newquay

We cannot let our hospital be closed...we owe it to the local hard working people of newquay.

My eldest Son is very ill medically so to be able to see someone so close to home is a great deal to us. I don't drive and the bus takes over an hour as it goes through Perranporth etc. Not only is this hospital a godsent to the locals the tourists use it as well. Please don't close our hospital.

With the growing demands on Treliske, I cannot believe they are contemplating this, especially since they've committed to so many new houses - Keep Newquay open.

With bed blocking already an issue how can they suggest closing this vital facility. With a bigger population and visitors we need a good local A & E. Also where will the clinics that are held there go???

We need Newquay hospital , we pay enough in rates and water bills to justify our small hospital . The huge increase in private properties will greatly increase the populace add to that the thousands of summer visitors that arrive . This should surely cover the need if not keep longer hours . Utilise the space better hold more outpatient apps . when Treliske A&E is clogged up use this area for North cornwall . Flexibility of resources and staff with forwarding thinking management is necessary . Patients needs should come FIRST !!!!!!

Without Newquay hospital and it's amazing staff, my son would not be here today. He simply wouldn't have survived his asthma attacks long enough to get to Treliske. Add to that the capacity to free beds in Treliske at a time when bed blocking is crippling our only major hospital, it seems insane to close this vital facility.

We need a hospital in Newquay. It needs to be open longer with more facilities to take the pressure off treliske

With the huge number of homes being built in Newquay and that the summer population swells to three times the residential population in the holiday seasons Newquay needs a front line hospital to care for minor ops, xrays and a&e. It is putting people's lives in danger to withdraw this hospital and will increase the stress and waiting times at RCH if casualties and small routine ops are not offered at Newquay.

I have used Newquay hospital a lot. It closer than Bodmin and 14 miles nearer than Truro. Soon we will need a bank loan just to visit/use a hospital in Cornwall!!!!

The Cornwall NHS STP plans more care locally in the community - how can this be achieved by closing local hospitals. This is all about cost cutting at the expense of decent healthcare!

Many more houses being built, treliske hopsital already very pushed and closing newquay will mean treliske being even more pushed, increased waiting times, also more bed blocking as one less community hospital to send patients too

Why are all these cuts to our health services happening since 2010 getting even worse since 2015, who is in government presiding over these closures?, who voted them into government?, who still refuses to back parties which would not allow this new phenomenon of alerts in A&E services? I never heard of Red or Black alerts in hospitals until very recently, had you?

We need this hosiptal. Please do not take it from us. Treliske can't cope know. If Newquay closes it will put more pressure on Treliske.
