Please do not take this vital resource away from the community. Treliske cannot cope as it is and this will put additional strain on all remaining hospitals in the area. Not to mention deprive local residents of a vital service.

I lived in Cornwell for many years; my children weny to school there, and then went on to teach in Newquay schools. It is VITAL that Newquay Hospital is maintained a s it is ABSOLUTELY essential for this busy, ever growing town - not just for those who live there, but also the A&E provides for the 1000s of visitors. PLEASE do not close it - it's at least a half hour drive, down winding lanes, to the nearest hospital at Truro

We use Newquay hospital often - it is ABSOLUTELY essential for this busy, ever growing town - not just for those who live there, but also its A&E for the 1000s of visitors. PLEASE do not close it - it's a half hour drive, down winding lanes, to the nearest hospital at Truro.

I often have appointments with hospital staff at Newquay Hospital due to my health issues. I live in Newquay and would struggle terribly to get to Treliske or elsewhere.

how can we do with out the hospital, there is a huge surge of visitors in the summer, houses are being built everywhere.and the patients in wards are there for a reason.closure would only put more demands on Treliske 13 miles away, which is already under strain. WE NEED THE HOSPITAL IN NEWQUAY

With the population of newquay growing at an ever increasing rate, demands for hospital care increasing along with all the new housing being built, any thoughts of closing our hospital is totally insane.

Newquay needs this hospital and people have spent a lifetime working and collecting money to keep it going, do not waste it all please.

We need this hospital both for the local community and if we wish to keep visitors coming as we depend on tourism for the local economy.

Newquay hospital is vital to our growing community- so many different valuable services will be lost - have received amazing care there for my children over the years for minor injuries , X-rays and for elderly relatives who feel safer and better cared for closer to home - dentist physio ?? Trelisk will be under even more pressure ! Closing it is a shortsighted austerity measure based on Tory policy and not real needs of the people .

I spent 7 weeks in Newquay Hospital in 2015 upon discharge from Derriford. I will be forever grateful for the care I received.

Newquay hospital has to stay open. I have had two examples within my family where that facility has saved the lives of two of my family members.

Newquay Hospital has been a godsend to us as a family. It has saved many trips to A & E Treliske for various wounds the children sustained at local schools and scouts, the staff in the Minor Injuries Unit are all amazing and patient. The physio team have also been a god send from the self referral to having on going treatment. I cannot imagine how an ever increasing Newquay population will manage without it!
