Minor injuries... needs to stay open . I had a poorly son and went up there my closest hospital 10 mins away truro is 35mins.. it was closed for evening.
Triliske cannot cope with the influx In winter how is it going to cope with Newquay closed and all the people on holiday.
A very big concern... give government a pay cut and invest in our much needed hospitals and services

It can only be a decision made by accountants who do not live in Newquay, massive increase in people and houses, where's the common sense such a decision. It's Treliske busy enough ?

This hospital including beds is vital to this increasing ageing Newquay population and vital to the influx of tourist needs and other residents when the roads to Bodmin or Truro are blocked.

My family use Newquay hospital often - it is ABSOLUTELY essential for this busy, ever growing town - not just for those who live there, but also its A&E for the 1000s of visitors. PLEASE do not close it - it's at least a half hour drive, down winding lanes, to the nearest hospital at Truro.

Cornwall does not have strong enough transport infrastructure to make Truro viable for most patients and visitors. Newquay is a growth hot spot that needs an expanding range of clinics at the hospital

I live in Newquay and the rate the town is growing with more houses being build we need our hospital more now than ever. Poor Treliske struggles to cope as we have seen first hand recently twice. my husband has spent 5 hours on a trolley in a corridor both times waiting to get into a packed A&E.

My family have made use of Newquay hospital on a number of occasions, particularly for emergencies when driving to Truro would have been impossible. It is an essential for resource for Newquay, especially with all, the new housing development but also as a very busy and popular tourist destination.
Driving to Truro is not always possible and also takes well over 30 minutes - too long for many emergencies. Please, please keep this valuable resource running NO MATTER THE COST!
