With Newquay expanding so rapidly it would be insane to close this hospital!

This would be an immense loss to Newquay and the surrounding area. Treliske is struggling to cope now, with all the new homes being built there must be demand for the facilities at Newquay to be increased. Why can't additional funding be found in the new housing developments so that this service is safe for future generations?

With Newquay hugely growing and Treliske on constant red alert the ludicrous consideration to close Newquay hospital is ridiculous, this will cause more immense problems within our already struggling health service, it doesn't take a clever person to realise surely that cuts should be made else where ...I could probably name 10 straight off without really having to think about it !! ....don't even start me on this !
Close Newquay hospital will for one put lives at risk !

We visit newquay alot through out the year as its my home town and having the hospital there is a must especially when you have small children

Valuable service for a large local and even larger seasonal community. After having to spend the last nine months travelling to and from Truro hospital I have witnessed the stress of getting there with the poor infrastructure as well as the facilities which would need upgrading to bring themselves up to scratch let alone take more responsibility.

Treliske is already inadequate to service the county. There are more and more people in the county (and country as a whole). How can you possibly entertain cutting any services, let alone health care?

Our hospital needs to stay. Truro is busy enough without added pressure if Newquay shut. In the season it can deal with issues from holiday makers relieving pressure on Truro.

Used to live in Newquay and have used this hospital in the past. The size of Newquay now it would be foolish to get rid of this hospital

No closure what with the development of a large number of new builds and an influx of thousands of holiday people in the summer we need our Newquay hospital.

Newquay hospital are brilliant with children. My daughter broke her Arm and she was able to have an X-ray and splint within a few hours. Without Newquay hospital we would have had a 40 minute drive to Truro and a very long wait when we got there.
