There is massive growth in Newquay and we need this vital resource. Not to mention the environmental impact of having to travel further. Extremely short-sighted.

We need this hospital Trelisk is struggling and is over a 20 minute drive. People will suffer maybe die as a result of this hospital closure. I have a 2 year old Grandson with asthma it's scary to think we would have to get him to Trelisk, to get help.

I understand that urgent care/MIU!s need review. The public need a one stop shop,
However an urgent care centre is required in Newquay.
In august Newquay MIU sees 1650 pts, the highest out of all MIU's bar CRCH.
The unit sees over 12,000 pts a year.
10,000-15,000 houses are going to be built in the next 10-15 years.
It is going to have a horrendous impact on surgeries.
Bring the unit and surgeries together and have a streamline service for all.

A growing Newquay needs this local Hospital, which is always busy.
Truro, Treliske Hospital needs these smaller hospitals to relieve the overspill. We need to expand Newquay Hospital not close it. Hundreds of new houses and population increasing.

The community would lose way too much if the 'pie in the sky ideas' go ahead. Newquay is growing at an exponential rate with all the new buildings going on. Treliske is ALWAYS overloaded and they want to close down an essential service in the quickest growing town in Cornwall...Ridiculous.

We have used this hospital many times over the years, they saved my child's life and looked after my grandmother in her final months. Newquay and surrounding areas heavily rely on services available here.
