This is an absolutely vital service in this community. With vast and ever growing visitor numbers and increases in population from new housing developments this facility is literally a life saver and helps to take the load off Treliske.

I have needed to use Newquay hospital as have my family.
This is a service that local people need and should stay.
With all the new housing it's becomes even more of a requirement.
Already In the summer months surely there is a larger need .
What will happen when the new housing estates are filled and this is closed?
Will the need be realised and then an increase in costs due to being forced to provide one?
This it would seem like the selling off of other hospitals and police stations is a mere money making scheme, to gain funds in the short term and then be hit for money once it's gone.
Listen to the people who use these services, value it and and need it.

Please keep this important community hospital open. So many older folk need it. My parents have relied on this heavily in recent years

The town is increasing in size and population, Treliske can't cope now, so why on earth would closing NQY make any sense ?
If anything, Cornwall needs a second major hospital in the Bodmin area as the Govt plan an increase in population of 200,000, just how will any of our public services cope with even more cuts ?
It's clear that the Govt are killing off the NHS bit by bit, selling contracts to outsourcing companies in preparation for the final push to the USA style Medical Insurance system.
No more cuts, use the money from the useless Trident and HS2 program's.
Newquays population swells from 20,000 to over 100,000 in the summer months with the tourist influx, this set to increase after Brexit as only the rich will be able to travel abroad.
Only a NHS that incorporates the care homes and community hospitals and clinics, will see the end of bed blocking.
If anyone values the NHS, for gods sake don't vote Tory or UKIP

I used Newquay Hospital a couple of months ago following a fairly serious allergic reaction to shellfish. It took us 5 minutes from leaving our house to get to the hospital, meaning they could catch and treat the symptoms before they progressed too severely. The drive to Treliske is 25 minutes and would have meant I suffered much more than I did. This hospital is vital for our ever growing town

With our increasing population we desperately need to keep our hospital! Even more we need an Accident and Emergency or Small Injuries clinic for the large numbers of young people both surfing and getting themselves hurt in alcohol fuelled trouble. They would need transport to Truro, putting even more pressure on Treliske and the Ambulance Service. This will not save money in the end!

Newquay needs this hospital to remain open as so many lives depend on treatment that can be expedited. If it closes then in the long run will cause massive problems to the residents and create even more problems for the staff at RCH who are already over stretched.

Needs to be kept open Newquay more than doubles in size over the summer. How is RCH Treliske going to cope with the extra people? Is on black alert at the best of times.

With more and more housing being built in Newquay, this hospital will be needed more than ever. If anything, the facilities should be used more and it's potential maximised.
