I feel that shutting Newquay hospital would cause more blockage at Treliske hospital which will then cause more fatalitiesand more pressure on hospital staff and ambulance drivers

It will be total madness to close this hospital. When I owned and managed my care home in Newquay I often took my clients for out patient appointments there. Far better than going to Truro The minor injuries unit is fantastic and I KNOW that A&E at Trelisk is beyond busy as my son works there. Please keep this very busy hospital

newquay is expanded, and needs to keep our local hospital, it would also help keep an already bursting at the seems treliske hospital from more chaos.

Newquay' population is expanding at an alarming rate, the infrastructure should be increasing . The Royal Cornwall Hospital is already struggling and at capacity.
Unless a new larger hospital is proposed for NEWQUAY it would be madness to close the current hospital which has very recently been refurbished anyway.
Sadly with the current government in situ I am realistic that this won't happen. I await further closures, longer waiting times with the eventuality of complete privatisation of our NHS. Nye Bevan will be turning in his grave. RIP NHS

Excellent facility RCH can't cope now - definitely not during the summer months. Newquay is expanding significantly and needs this facility.

If you lose Newquay hospital then think of the journeys people will have to make to other very over- stretched hospitals! We are told not to go to A&E for non- emergencies! So where will people go if there is no minor injuries???? Doh!!! This government is taking a well known existing problem and making it worse! Idiots!!!

My step dad has been in hospital since before christmas. He was lucky enough to get transferred to newquay. Lucky for my mum too aa she does not drive so she can easily visit. With copd she can't walk far. He is stuck there at the moment because there isn't any care team to allocate to him. He will need four visits a day, all of which my mum will be paying for.

This hospital needs to remain open we've used it on many occasions and would of have to travel miles away with people that are sick .
