With our main hospital, Royal Cornwall Hospital and our other local hospitals also struggling, why would you shut one down! Important to keep these essential services open. You can't moan about the amount of people unemployed and getting benefits, then close the hospital and create more unemployed! Absolutely ridiculous. The amount of locals and holiday makers that rely on that hospital is huge and this would create more problems for the other hospitals if shut, especially in summer!

We are closing too many of our cottage hospitals, this then puts a big strain on our main hospital Treliske. Due to closures Treliske is always on Black Alert. Mmm I'm not a politician but mmm I can see this.

Ridiculous to even consider cutting numbers. We need another hospital on top of the one we have

Keep this hospital open!! Newquay was my home for 12 years and I worked with St Johns ambulance for many years knowing that Newquay hospital stops so many minor injuries from having to go up to treliske and make them busier. It is essential with Newquay being a hot spot to have this hospital.

We need this to stay open. People that can't drive will find it a lot harder

As a minor injury unit it helps those that need medical attention but not emergency care away from overloading Treliske.

Newquay Hospital is a vital resource for this community, Treliske is already unable to cope with the numbers of people going to a and e , closing Newquay will cost lives, people rely on the hospital

Any more cuts to the health care will destroy where we live. Our care workers will be unable to care efficiently If you do not care for them. I used to work I the mental health sector but my position was cut and it has not probably just effected the organisation but my life too, if places like this are going to start being cut as well then it's not going the result in anything positive, Kind regards, Ricky Mead

Newquay needs this hospital, especially during the summer months. We also have a sizeable elderly population who require use of this nospital.

We need this hospital in Newquay for the most vulnerable, expanding population with lots of children! Truro is too far for family to visit you and public transport isn't very good. Keep our hospital open!

Used this hospital many times saving us having to travel to treliske and also not clogging up the main hospital. Needs to stay open.

This hospital is a vital part of the local area and without extra strain will be put on Trelisk which already struggles to cope.

We need more community hospitals. Both my elderly parents used this hospital. They don't drive, they were old and to make the trip to Treliske was a real ordeal. Cornwall's hospitals should be funded to reflect the influx of elderly and holiday makers from up country too.

Closing Newquay Hospital would be utter madness and could result in many lost lives if people have to go (or be transported) to Treliske.

My family have used Newquay Hospital many, many times for MIU, x-rays and clinics. It is essential for Newquay!!
