KI helped to fight for this in the1990 when I then worked there 17yrsin all .The hospital is always full so is MIU which is seriously needed for both locals and holiday makers who rely on it .Don't think Newquay could do without this Hospital and all its upto date facilities

After fainting in a restaurant and hitting my head several times I was whisked to Newquay hospital. I was on my at the time not local. I relied on their expertese and would not of bee. Able to transport myself to Truro hospital.

My sister and her family live in Newquay. They have health problems If you close the hospital it would make them and a lot of other people feel insecure, as my family would too as we spend a lot of time in Newquay at holiday time. Please reconsider closing the hospital

My son needs the hospital, especially in winter, he suffers from asthma and needs the use of the nebulizer. We are elderly parents so if he takes an attack how does he get to say Treliske???? Disgraceful. Selfish. Disgusting.

We should not close Newquay hospital it relieves the pressure on Treliske and provides beds for people leaving hospital who are still unable to return to their own homes

Newquay hospital is an essential minor injuries unit plus more, that serves the Newquay area. Without it, treliske will be the first stop and not cope.

The staff at Newquay are amazing and Newquay needs this hospital surely they take the pressure off Treliske?! To close Newquay would add pressure to the already limited nhs services available in this vicinity.

If this hospital were to shut down, then out closest hospital is Royal Cornwall Hospital, Trilisk in Truro nearly a 40 minute drive away, how to expect to keep to the target 8 min response time? And what if injuries are life threatening? Then what? Stuff them in the back of an ambo and go for a 40 min drive while the paramedic struggles to save a mans or women's life? I thought you guys were smart. We need this hospital it's a major life line within our close nit community. Not to mention the amount of jobs that would be lost
