I have lived in Newquay all my life and would hate to see the hospital shut down. It is is very important in our community and needs to remain open.

The thought of closing this hospital is ridiculous. As a frequent visitor to Newquay wih a husband with several health issues it is very reassuring to know we can have a family break and have bloods and warfarin levels checked locally

Losing this hospital will put more pressure on Treliske and make the bed blocking worse as there are not enough carers in the community. I know as I was a carer.

I have used Newquay Hospital on many occasions. I think that I am even having to sign this petition is ludicrous.
Treliske is always on alert for being over crowded. How about instead of shutting down Newquay improve its facilities to try and help take pressure off Treliske.

Surely with so much new housing being developed in the area, apart from the massive increase in the population during the holiday season, we should be looking at expanding Newquay Hospital and not at closing it!
