It would be a crying shame to loose the 'community' hospital. With the growth of the town.... how is this even an option??
Treliske have been on black since the council try to compact community care company's (2 yrs ago this march) so where caters for the existing need and the coming population and living increase?

We need this in Newquay. I had treatment here for a cut leg, I would have had to call an ambulance otherwise. Great staff too

How can the council consider closing Newquay hospital. With all the ever growing residents that are arriving daily and all the holiday makers. They are obviously not thinking straight.

We holiday in Newquay as often as we can I am devastated that the cuts could affect Newquay hospital. Aside from local people we need use of this service, we had to pay them a visit when my daughter slashed her arm open on a slate wall (she's 7), and we were there and seen within 1.5hrs. Fantastic staff fantastic hospital a much needed service in this ever growing town! Please don't close it down!!!

Newquay hospital is an invaluable resource to this community and that community can double or triple in the summer season, with holidaymakers, who put Newquay hospital under what is believed to be some strain, requiring things like additional equipment etc.. Imagine if we lost this resource? Imagine the strain this would put Treliske under? The idea of closing our hospital is completely short sighted and ridiculous in my view.

We need to keep all hospitals open with more and more houses being built. As it is treliske is on red alert. Don't make things worse by closing the hospital
