A lovely hospital with a really friendly atmosphere when you walk in. Staff have time for you and don't treat you just as a number.

Our communities cannot do without this fantastic facility, it must stay open and active.

closing yet another valuable facility leaves people from the far west needing to travel as far as Plymouth for urgent appointments, as these are often referrals to detect cancer this leaves vulnerable people with an unacceptable journey additional expence and possibly an overnight stay.

We need Newquay open. Truro hospital cannot cope with all Cornwall's population. For some people it is not easy to get to Truro to be treated.

I have used miu in Newquay a lot over the years having 3 boisterous children.I went there for injuries I felt it wasn't necessary to clog up the already struggling Treliske. Without Miu I would have had to get to Treliske and waited along with real emergencies to be seen. With Miu my children were seen ..without hours of waiting, treated and able to be at home recuperating within a reasonable time. TRELISKE A and E should be for emergencies that require urgent medical intervention. MY children had various injuries that weren't life threatening but needed assessing and treating..and the Gp surgery couldn't have done that either!!

If you have ever needed treatment you will have seen first hand how busy it is and how much the staff there do. We need this hospital, Newquat is growing rapidly , has this been taken into account? Try getting to Treliske when you need medical attention, especislly in the summer. All this will do is drive people to call 999 and the ambulance service will not cope.

Leave our hospital alone as with out these you are putting more presure on Truro it's not on when you are building all these houses and no fercilitys to cope the government need to start thinking a lot more instead of filling there own dam pockets and sending our money abroad and start charging people that want to come live here or holiday from other country's as we have to when we go to there's then the NHS would not be in crises look after our Drs and Nurses they are worked hard and no respect for them so come on buck up u government sort it now bring back the Matrons to save our hospital

Treliske can't cope with what comes their way! The development of Newquay at present is unbelievable which will put more pressure on Treliske. We need these smaller, local hospitals like never before! Take off your blinkers!

A very necessary hospital. Madness to think of closing it which would put more strain on Treliske.

Use common sense! Keep local hospitals open and save money on non essential projects eg the culture bid.

Local cuts kill local communities and people.
