A much needed service for both locals and visitors and jobs for those working there.

It's so difficult for local people to travel to other hospitals and a local NHS provision is essential to such a busy tourist area like Newquay

Please leave this valuable hospital to support the people of Newquay and Cornwall.

Beds are blocked, hospitals are stretched so the NHS closes hospitals. Never heard anything so daft in my life.

Absolutely disgusting. Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske couldn't possibly cope if Newquay Hospital closed.

In Cornwall small local units like Newquay's are essential. For the elderly, families with children and especially those without transport here in Newquay the loss of our hospital would be catastrophic. I hope Councillors will stand up for their communities.

How can they close this? As a teacher, is a valuable resource for any children than need a 'quick check at minor injuries' from lowing trips and fall. As a sport person, it's reassuring to know there is a minor injuries unit on your door step. As a granddaughter it was invaluable when my grandad was in between RCH and going on to a care home. It meant that he felt 'close to home' and family and friends could visit more easily and frequently, facilitating his journey back to good health!

A fantastic Nurse Led Unit. Please leave it alone. RCHT is at breaking point. This will only add to their woes

I don't drive. The public transport is rubbish around here. Spending 45 minutes on a bus to get to an over crowded trelisk is crazy. Start taking away essential services like this puts public health at risk for the sake of minimal savings in the scheme of things.

I needed to use this facility last year for my son who was injured we ended up having to go 45 mins away. The staff were great and put a plaster on my sons arm so he could travel in more comfort. Main hospital too far.
