Hands off Newquay Hospital

Much needed and used asset to this part of cornwall

Having the nearest hospital 15 miles away in Truro is ridiculous Don't close Newquay

In a rural county such as Cornwall, where access to basic public services is difficult due to travel, we need to keep not only Newquay, but all of the local hospitals.

We need this service people please sign

Royal Cornwall is on highest alert again, we need Newquay hospital desperately to take off the pressure. Ridiculous trying to close it. A tragedy waiting to happen

Without the hospital and miu we are just increasing the already over worked rcht

It's disgraceful that they want to close it. It's a valid necessity to the community and takes the burden of RCH

Its just a case of lets build more houses so the council can get more money, but some of them seem to be so thick and not even consider hospitals, schools etc. How about just cutting the top knobs pay in the council or getting rid of their jobs and put the money to more use like hospitals, schools, Dr surgerys. Think of the people that live here and not just themselves.

Ridiculous having to close this amenity when the government are giving billions in aid to places like India and Pakistan who both have space and nuclear programs. What is wrong with politicians?

This hospital is very busy every time we come and therefore is a much need facility.

Newquay hospital is vital to this ever growing town. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for the residents if the hospital was to close, all the facilities are vital to this community. What a mistake it would be to close this hospital, treliske is already bursting at the seems, I heard the other day it was on black alert! For a Newquay resident to get to treliske via public transport is very difficult and perhaps sometimes not necessary, you can get an x ray at Newquay which means you don't have to go to the already over stretched treliske. My elderly mother stayed in the ward at Newquay hospital while she recouperated and what an efficient, clean, friendly ward that was. The staff were wonderful and made what was a very difficult time for our family, bearable. Please don't shut Newquay hospital it would be a great loss! Carol.

We need to keep these smaller hospitals! They are very important.....we cannot cope with just one main hospital in Cornwall!
