These cottage hospitals offer a vital service. With the current housing increase we will need this facility. Once it has been removed and premises sold, the need will become apparent and it will cost too much to reinstate. Forward planning is the essence of good management!

With over 18,000 signatures on the petition not to close the 4 Devon Hospital, what chance does Newquay and the others in Cornwall stand! These 4 in Devon are set to shut regardless of locals airing their views and concerns......if KCCG could guarantee replacement facilities would be better than those already run at the cottage hospital all well and good, but some how can't see it!

It may only be a cottage hospital but it serves a need in the community. It's essential that it's maintained and kept for the local community.

At the age of 90 I will be most upset if Newquay Hospital closes as it sometimes avoids a longer journey to Treliske for some appointments.

A very valuable resource for Newquay. Especially for the more vulnerable members of out society. Those that don't have access to suitable transport

Would be such a shame to lose an important part of the community. The hospital offers valuable services for people living in Newquay and treliske hospital is just too far away for most cases.
