New Zealand has very few Rinks, nothing between Auckland and Christchurch. There is growing interest in ice sports in New Zealand and increasing demand is placed on present Rinks. School holidays are packed, along with winter weekends when the weather's not great...

The level of traction this initiative has gained confirms that our regional demand for an ice rink is significant. I am now compiling the data gathered here to present to the Hamilton City Council during our upcoming formal meeting.

Yes please, very bold and ambitious but definitely worth a project that will give another outlet to the young people of Hamilton
AWESOME IDEA. Hamilton really needs this for the winter months when there is nothing to do.
Bout time we got one. Hockey is massive and we need a proper home for it instead of traveling for hours.
Living in Hamilton we have to drive all the way to Auckland just to skate, it would be so much better to have something local for the families here.
My kids would love this so much. Please make it happen.
Please build a permanent ice rink in Hamilton!
Yes an ice rink woukd be awesome. Not for kids but sports aswell.

I grew up with ice hockey in Canada, it's one of the greatest games on the planet and having a rink in Hamilton would be beneficial for people like myself who love hockey and want to teach other the game without travelling to far. U bring the rink, I'll bring the people.
