My family and I travel this way to church Wednesdays and Sundays. Even with the best timing we still are late at times. If it's just me I take the longer way around just in case. I know several living in this area that have to fight it daily. Traffic backs up to 153 for those that are going to their home's. This over pass would be so welcome and a relief.

My mother suffered a stroke. I could not get her to Northpark Hospital because of a train blocking the way. We need access to emergency services round the clock. There is no other reasonable means other than across the railroad track, which has often been blocked by dual track trains. Please help us.

We need this badly! I keep thinking how 13 minutes is too long to be blocked if there is an emergency vehicle

RiverChase subdivision - Hamill road is one of three main exits from my subdivision, If this solution is not accepted, the train companies need to limit the time trains are blocking the Hamill Road to no more than 5 to 8 minutes. Posted at the crossing a phone number to report violations to the controlling authoriy.

The railroad crossing area on Hamill Road is out dated. Needs an upgrade.

This entire area needs an over haul. At times of the day it is virtually impossible to turn right or left off Crescent Club onto Hamill and then to have to deal with parked train is so frustrating. Sometimes the last car of train is visible and one wonders if there is some way to address no only length of blockage (I was going to wait it out one day but declared defeat after 55 minutes and went around when I was 2 miles from home) as well as length of train??

The traffic is horrible due to the train activity. It blocks emergency vehicles as well as auto traffic. Heaven forbid that something should happen at Sequoyah Nuclear plant. One of the major evacuation routes would be blocked and nobody moving waiting for two SLOW trains. So frustrating.

Long overdue - not only an inconvenience but also a safety issue with delayed access to emergency services.

This railroad crossing is less than a quarter mile from Memorial Hospital in Hixson, is the only direct route from Big Ridge, and is frequently blocked anywhere from several minutes to hours and this is NOT an exaggeration. The time it takes to find an alternate route around the tracks could very well be the difference between life and death!

Paying Chattanooga taxes should rate some attention to our growing community. Downtown has beautiful roads, our turn needs to be now!!

Needed badly, Hixso roads get ignored, potholes, too narrow, no pathways for pedestrians.
