Mr. Ashok Chawan Hon' Chief Minister Maharashtra State As you know, at present in respects of Securing Food all sectors are active on the issues of BT Brinjal. In India, Chief Ministers of 10 States, have made deposition that they will ban cultivation of BT crop on commercial basis in their respective states. “The ill effects of BT Crops are still a subject of experimentation. Once it is introduced, only the multinational will benefit, leaving our farmers sufferers, as most of them are poor. Maharashtra stands 2nd in the country, when it comes to farmer’s suicide incidences. So please stop the permission of BT crop cultivation in our State “MAHARASHTRA” With regards
