Last I heard it sold just over 400 and gave out quite a few as well.

I live to close to this site. I don't appreciate the extra traffic or noise in my quiet neighborhood.

We don't need this place when the city needs new roads and repairs, alone with trying to raid out taxes even more just to have a concert we have the civic center just down the road and they done even do that good

I do not believe this project has been well researched enough to be implemented at this time. Our city leaders need to listen to what is being said and make a better choice for this land that was not a wise purchase from the beginning. Building an amphitheater here seems like a very poor way to solve the use of this land. Please do not proceed with the planning of this project until more research has been done for the best informed choice for this land can be made .

When I attended the open house and spoke to the rep from the feasibility stud regarding their proposed revenue and number of full tune employees she provide no good answers based on facts, just best guesses. My concern is how long will it have operating losses prior to bringing all the revenue in, and who would make that up. Also over 100 full time employees....

I have a friend who works at 5 points, she said maybe they had 600 people for Lee Greenwood. The city is already paying to keep 5 points going, why open another venue? Smh

In addition to all of the issues that have already been raised, what is going to be the environmental impact upon Bowen Lake Park? This is right across the street from the proposed amphitheater. What will the impact of the increased traffic, noise and pollution have upon the park, the fish, birds, etc.? We pay taxes to support that park and it is well used.

As a taxpayer and voter, I have already been skeptical of how our town uses taxpayer money to dabble in privately owned business. The entertainment business is not a town council job, nor something that should be taxpayer funded. Yes, I am happy with my tax dollars supporting the arts at the local level, such as music education in our public schools. Furthermore, I have concerns not only about the financial feasibility of this venture, but the impact on the environment and the quality of life of humans in the surrounding neighborhoods (particularly families with young children and elderly retirees, who are a major demographic in the neighborhood of the proposed project).

As a taxpayer, I feel placing this project on pause is an excellent idea until we have solid information.

This needs much more investigation before the city ends up raising my taxes AGAIN on unnecessary items. We need to refocus on minimizing expenditures.
