The city needs to listen to the people most affected by this proposed facility. I do not want to see this go through. This will likely be a failed project and then what. You will be reducing the value of homes. Use the money in another way. Like music education in the schools, etc. This project is too impacting on the city for the consile to decide. Put it to a vote by the people. Addresses closer to the site get more weight applied. STOP!

I am opposed to the city participating financially in the amphitheater proposed for the "223" property the city owns. If Mr. Hengst wants to build the facility I believe he should do it completely on his own without the city contributing $2 - $3 million in infrastructure.
There are a number of reasons the city should leave this project alone, but noise the facility will generate, probably overly rosy projections for use, the expense to citizens who will be taxed for the infrastructure, and the fact that we already have a wonderful performance venue at Five Points (that is seldom at capacity, in my experience) should be enough.

This was a generous offer from Mr. Hengst, thank you. However, I am in favor of halting this process until further consideration is given and all questions answered. I am NOT in favor of raising taxes for this and NOT in favor of the noise level it will create so close to a lot of residential areas.

Really didn't agree with anything that hasn't been properly researched and they seem to have no clear instructions. Just going on a hope it'll be popular when we have 5 points & bigger structures nearby that are struggling. So no thank you, don't need all that noise nearby or a big empty structure wasting space
