It was very clear from the last HOA meeting that NO efforts are being made to collect input from the homeowners on how our money is spent. It’s imperative that a new system (such as electronic surveys) be put into place immediately to obtain community feedback on top priority projects. Being physically present at an HOA meeting (or even virtually present) is not an effective or efficient way to get community input (especially when discussion isn’t even allowed). Top projects we are investing in should be ones that FIRST benefit the paying home owners, not the property manager. There are many more cost effective options to secure files than building an entire private office. If the property manager needs a private office then it should be paid for by the property management company not the homeowners. Our money should be invested in improving the community amenities such as repaving the basketball court (much needed), improving the pools, gym, etc. and also on community events. Stop the clubhouse construction immediately and identify a better plan for our money!!

Complete waste of money for a permanent office in a community amenity for a contract employee. If anything the clubhouse should be enhanced for the benefit of residents. There is no rational justification to support this. There are many other less costly reasonable alternatives to address the board’s concerns. The cost of the office should be redirected to other needs that enhance the value of our community.

HOA money collected from the community homeowners should be used toward projects that are agreed upon with feedback from the community directly. An electronic survey or other similar system should be used to regularly obtain feedback from homeowners as this is the most effective method vs. being physically present at an HOA meeting . It’s unreasonable to provide a private office space for a property manager when items in the community that benefit the homeowners are not completed such as repaving the basketball court, improving the pool, gym and other community amenities. There are other more cost effective ways secure files. Stop the clubhouse office construction immediately!!
