we just got the news that coach ed is officially coming back. thank you to everyone who stuck by this because you really made it happen. im so happy he gets to be back on the court where he belongs.

We, supporters of Ed Dever, believe that our coach was wrongfully fired from his job. Coach Ed has done exceptional things here at Hallahan HS. He took a team that won 1 game a few years ago to being in the playoffs the past two years. Despite the basketball team's success, Coach Ed brought an uplifting spirit to everyone he met. There wasn't a better guy in the building, and there won't be until he is back. #SaveCoachEd

Coach Ed has been an exceptional enrichment to my daughter’s growth and success as a member of the Hallahan Basketball team and all around student body. Many things go into making a wonderful team but only a unique and all giving person can make it truly a wonderful experience. #SaveCoachEd
This is truly disappointing to hear... He love these girls and wants nothing but the best for them... In an era where girl athletes continue to play second to boys, coach Dever showed them that it's beyond your sex but it's about GRIT and dedication... Save Coach Dever
as a former player for coach Ed, I know he wants nothing but the best for all his players and changed hallahans program completely. player under 4 new coaches every season, Ed made it a point to make the team a family and to keep the program moving in a positive direction.
Coaching with this man has been the best experience of my life. Besides being my head coach, he is my uncle, my godfather, and one of the father figures in my life. He has been a father figure, mentor, and friend to each and every single one of the girls hes coached and im proud of the work we accomplished #SaveCoachEd
I'm proud to call this great coach my uncle, and I'm proud of all of the change he has brought to my alma mater's basketball program. I am deeply saddened that my alma mater made this decision, and I genuinely hope they reconsider their action.
Hope he returns!

Ed was a great coach when I played at Roman. He was all about the players and wanted nothing but to see us succeed. Makes me sick to think the Hallahan would just throw away a coach who turned there whole basketball program around! #savecoached
