I've wanted to hike these stairs for quite some time. I would travel to Oahu just to climb these.

It's always been a dream as a hiker/climber to hike the stairs.

How often on this Earth does a literal stairway to Heaven occur? Let's preserve the Haiku Stairs!!!

The Haiku Stairs was the main reason for me to visit Oahu this May and without it everything will be different... I will pay $100 definitely to do this hike so please open the Haiku Stairs.

I desperately wanted to climb this while we were stationed on Oahu, but it was under guard the few times I attempted to access the start point.

I grew up in Kailua and have climbed the stairs, I would like to be able to do it again someday. This part of what makes Hawaii so special

Let it be enjoyed! I've traveled to Oahu twice in the last three years and it just wasn't worth the hassle to do the hike. Wish I could've. I live in one of the most beautiful parts of Alaska and although I grow weary of tourists, I understand why they come to my home state. You can't blame someone for wanting to enjoy the wonderful places that travel avails.
