I took my wife for the first time to Hawaii last April and were avid hikers. I wanted to take her on this but we were told we'd get a hefty fine if we did. Re-open this breathtaking hike!

Please allow a Trust to be opened to defray costs associated with the care and maintenance of this treasure so anyone who is up for the challenge can enjoy the experience.

Show me something in this world that isn't dangerous. Hiking, like life, comes with risks. Every person that decides to hike whether it's stairway or some other hike accepts that risk. Don't prevent people from doing what they love.
