Habrough Fields Phase 2, Immingham.

They said they had no plans to build on that field when asked when looking to buy, but that was a lie as plans were already being made/applied for. This is not a respectable firm so would expect any promises made not to be for filled. Peter Wards Homes are unreliable and when things go wrong once you have purchased they are not interested. We are all aware of the flooding issues and nothing has been done. The one entrance/exit road is not sufficient. Schools cannot cater for additional families.

There are so many things wrong with building on the proposed Phase 2 site. 1. It was not consulted on in the Local plan 2.The horrendous flooding in the area that the poor Phase1 residents have to suffer - it is a travesty that not only has the builder not remediated this they want to build more!! If the builder hasn't solved the flooding problems on the existing site WHY add a further site and allow them to add to Immingham's flooding problems and create misery for those who suffer it. 3. Not enough school places in the nearby school. 4. Access to the existing site is bad and dangerous - particularly when flooded. Access to the new site will be via phase 1 making the problem and the traffic a whole lot worse. 5. Countryside will be destroyed - at the minute the estates on the west side of Immingham are broken up and the character of the estates is softened by being edged by woods and farmland. A new site will make this one massive estate destroying the distinctive semi-rural character of the west side of Immingham forever. 6. Habitats of all sorts of wildlife will be impacted. 7. Access from Roval to Mill Lane will be lost. 8. Increased pressure on public services nearby such as doctors and dentists. 9. Loss of open space for leisure and increased pressure on the existing parks. There are no more parks planned and the existing playing fields and parks are massively oversubscribed leading to anti-social behaviour. This is only going to get worse with more houses added and no more facilities provided.

Flood issues will never be sorted as it's a flood plain. Excess pressure on already tight services or drs, dentists, schools etc

The main road is inadequate for another 150 houses. When we flooded earlier this year no one could get off the estate as there is only one way on and off

We don't need anymore houses. We need the issues of flooding, shops, doctors etc putting right first.

I agree with this petition my main concern is the increased traffic having only 1 roadcin and out of estate which is not very wide especially with the plant vehicles coming down there they cannot manoeuvre the bends adequately and the possible extra 300 cars plus the junction onto brocklesby avenue is horrendous not to mention flooding drainage etc

One road onto the estate is not enough. Can't stand how windy the road is too, it's a nightmare.

Traffic. Schools. Flooding. Parking of commercial vehicles and lorrys. Only 1 road in and out.

Parking on the estate is already a pain, especially with industrial vehicles taking residence on the road side. Surely one way in or out would cause issues?

They havent done phase 1 great!!!

I think before this goes ahead- Peter ward's needs to concentrate on the problems we have at present - improving the drainage systems to prevent further flooding - finishing the snagging lists for the homes that have already been built and bought and lived in long enough now for them to sort the issues whether minor or major problems - these houses aren't cheap and when bought we expect them to look how they are shown in the showhome. Also they need more than just one lady dealing with queries and issues in the office (I feel extremely sorry for her especially being heavily pregnant also) . And there definetly should be another road in and out of the estate at least then if flooding did occur again we aren't all stuck. Also build another school - it disappointed me when we moved here we only had 2 options for a school for our son one being out of the catchment area and the other being not such a great school. After all the above has been addressed I don't see why it would be such an issue for more homes.

It is well know that the drainage can not hope with the number of houses currently being used. This issue needs sorting before more housing is made available .

Why build house were it always floods .there is plenty of other places were they could build.

Phase one houses are poorly put together, Peter ward's customer service is shocking. When building there's no consideration or respect for the residence.

I strongly disagree with the planned proposal. I was one of the residents flooded. Nothing has been done .only one exit in and out is appalling. Added pressure on on local ammenities. Schools doctors dentist etc. Insufficient drainage. Lots of things need to be put right before any one should even consider building more housing.

Seen the flooding and difficulties facing residents first hand - this needs to be sorted before phase 2 begins!

We got badly flooded in August this year it is now the end of October and our house is still not finished . More houses on here would just cause more problems as nothing has been done to stop it happening again

This is beyond stupid. The houses built there already are worthless and next to impossible to sell. The policy is to build on 'brownfield' sites first...Don't make me laugh. The planners who get back-handers from builders love this. The builders know its much cheaper to build on a field as opposed to a waste land/old factory. Yet again the interests of ordinary people are ignored. You are supposed to be re-developing the run down/dis-used/abandoned factories or airfields, but this cannot happen as the planners/councillors are being paid off by the builders.

Surely after the recent floods they can't be building more houses on a flood plain ?
