I can't even think of one benefit this would have on town of burrillville or the state of RI. Other than $. So many other places that are not on the coast. I grew up there. Let's not ruin our landscapes. If it is built. There is always the fear of a catastrafy to take place and people have to evacuate. Would be tragic let's not let it happen in our back yard.

I grew up in burrillville..my family lives there...my daughter will grow up there..I want it to be as lovely and beautiful for her as it was for me...please don't take our town away from us.

I grew up playing in the woods and streams of Burrillville. My family lives here. This proposed power plant is completely unnecessary and wasteful especially when alternative energies are becoming more available. I work in the renewable energy industry and it is disgusting that we would even think of adding such a polluter to our region. This is regression! There are areas of the country that have banned new fossil fuel projects and here we are now fighting against an industry whose interests are not aligned with the will of the people. We have to choose a better way.

We have a farm in Burrillville that is near the Ocean State power plant. Our aquifers cannot be strained by power plant needs. People need to conserve energy and the power plants are the only ones that make the revenue.
