I grew up in Burrillvile and now live just a few miles away in Douglas. I pass through Burrillville almost daily and my children spend time there often as my immediate and extended family still live there...keep Burrillville beautiful and clean- no more power plants!!!

Don't destroy where I grew up. Burrillville is one of the perfect places in RI to raise children, don't ruin that by creating chaos and pollution.

Stop the madness and save our land! If you do not know the detrimental effects of fracking, go research it now! The evidence is out there! Fracking destroys land and will make our town an ecological disaster!

I love my well water. It's quite possibly the best water I've ever had... And no unnecessary fracking well will change that if I can help it! The greedy infrastructure of fuel companies, vying over which land to destroy next, is already having a major impact on our environment... Which equates to our health!!

Our family just moved to Pascoag RI and we love the quietness and clean air living here for us and for our future generations we don't need a power plant to come and take that away from us! If we new ahead of time that this power plant was happening we would Not have moved here!!! What a shame that this is even happening, Gina Rumondo should be ashamed of her self for not standing up for the people of Burriville, Pascoag.

I am not in favor of expanding the current power plant. It is a large risk to our many state parks, lakes and reservoirs in the event of failure. This could endanger our residents as well as neighboring Zamborano Hospital. Traffic from the construction will be an issue for sure coming through Chepachet, and rt's 107 and 100, and passing through Church Street. The residents of Burrillville have given enough. Please reconsider using Burrillville for this project.

NO!!!! No New power plant in Burrillville/Glocester and Northern RI. We want to preserve God's country here, our family, our health and our wildlife and vegetation. Enough toxins. It took us years to clean up after the textile industry. Many of us grow organic gardens, raise animals and chickens, maintain Bee hives for organic honey etc. We need jobs but not at the expense of our neighbors, pets and wildlife. Tear down some of the old abandoned buildings in Providence and build it next to the state house. The state departments heads can't monitor themselves to maintain roads and bridges properly and safely. How can you monitor a power plant! NO! No! and No! new power plant. Men, Women and Children and our pets have suffered enough with cancer.

Please do not put this power plant in Burrillville. If it has to be in RI, then put it in some of the brownspaces located close to the Port where the oil barges come in and there is already a gas line there. However, I really do think that as the smallest state in the Union, we should be looking into renewable energy sources like wind and solar power not fossil fuels and fracked gas. It is 2016 people!! The state of Vermont is totally powered by renewable energy. If they can do it, so can RI. NO NEW POWER PLANT IN BURRILLVILLE!!! It is not necessary to ruin pristine woodlands for this when there are PLENTY of brownspaces available in Providence. Thank you for your consideration.
