I spent most of my childhood growing up in Glendale from 11 years old till I left for college. You would have to be selectively blind to not see the damage done to communities across the country when commerce and industry are pushed in favor of the people living there. Any time a lobbyist has to fork over money to get you to think his or her way, that should be an instant red flag to know it's not in everyone else's best interest. I would not support any powerplant, unless they are planning to erect a solar panel array.

We say NO ! I do not want it here I have family and friends here and the environment and pollution would not be goid so I say NO! Our forrests and state parks are also here too.

This is the wrong direction period. If we are going to invest it should be in renewable resources, wind, solar, tides. Fossil fuel anything is a bad investment in 2016.

This a bad idea if we want our water to stay clean and not contaminated with chemicals that have the potential to destroy the water quality, the air we breathe, the entire environment and peoples health destroyed. From reports around the entire country, fracking facilities end up always being incredibly destructive once in use, so much more than promised in the planning stages. I heard that studies on impact for this plant will only be done AFTER the deal is made - if this is true what is the point - it would seem wise to do them before so an educated decision on the harm it would cause would be known in advance of any deal being made. It is too late once the damage is done. An independent study agreed upon by people of the towns affected should be able to choose NOT a few people wanting to make a fast buck or the fracking company themselves.

Have we not learned anything from the nightmares that people have being forced to live with in states where "fracking" was allowed to be done indiscriminately? The water shed and water distribution system in the village of Pascoag has already been subjected to the consequences of the greedy make a buck imperial commerce once. Isn't that enough for the elected officials to get the guts to stand up and simply say "NO, ONCE IS ENOUGH". They should be willing to do their damned job and protect our town and the resident's they were elected to protect!!!!!!!

I am fully against any new power plant or expansions of existing plants of any kind. Our town has had enough pollution! There are too many negative impacts for this to be okay to go through with.

I am a resident of Burrillville, RI. As much as I don't want to leave, if this new plant is put in, it will not only effect my well water, air quality and noise pollution, but my overall health as well as my husband's and children's health.
