We must think long-term on the effect this will have! There are much greener ways of providing resources.

The costs of this project outweigh the benefits by a lot!

The long-term effects (cancer, COPD, Asthma) to the residents and Union Workers in years to come will be detrimental.

How crazy that this has gotten so far without the effected areas hearing about it? I'm in Woodstock, CT, so I'm not within sight of it, but I'm sure within the effected area!

It needs to go away. My family's quality of life will be in jeporady by it polluting the air and water.

Destroying pristine woodlands in a quiet bedroom community is asinine. There are countless brown field areas already ravaged by industrial expansion that could accommodate this power plant. There was no mention of a clean up fund to help the town recover from the inevitable environmental damage. Cooling with MBTE tainted water is inconceivabley short sighted and ignorant to the obvious dangers.

Keep it out of our town and our state!! Another waste of money that we don't have. We would have to fund some of this, and RI sure doesn't have the money. I hope the Gov. wakes up and starts to do some common sense things, and not things like the truck toll, and the new tourism proposal which got trashed anyway, but we wasted about $300K trashing it. Could have put the $$ into much better projects!!

Keep Burilleville rural and safe for the children. We are informed people and very aware of the health hazards and potential abundance of cancer related illnesses and mortality risks involved!

I don't want to see this power plant built taking and destroying our towns land. For the people, my family, our nature and wild life. If there is such a need for this make a proposal to ocean state power plant. Use that land. Tear down, upgrade, whatever you need but use a space that has already had our nature and wildlife destroyed.

I do not want this it's not good ideal to take away land from the wild animals, and our homes plus the trees we need to breath with out oxygen we all will die.leave our land near towns alone.
